This painting was inspired by strong feelings. I was feeling anger and anxiety, passion and pain, at the time I began. My first layer of this painting was an emotional, disorganized collection of colors I was not used to using. I got all of my emotions out on my canvas before I decided to dial in.

Creating serenity from the chaos. The figures in the corners of the piece are speaking their truths, using their voices to create change within themselves and within the world around them. As I began dialing in on detail, I found that every pathway, every thought, was full of lights and darks, highs and lows. Speak your truth, and it will set you free. Acknowledge your darkness and find your light.

Also, those peach dreamsicle sunset sherbert vibes had me on cloud nine by the time I finished this piece, and still does now hehehe🍑🍒🍌🍉🍊🍋🥑
